Great comeback for the whites last night.. great game overall with both teams playing with a “never say die” attitude!

    My Votes:

    1. Woody - thought he was excellend last night… especeially with his positional play - didn’t get drawn to far out and made some vital interceptions!

    2. Luke G - purely for that finish! - quality!

  2. Sideshow Says:

Another close game. This week my votes go to:-

    1) Andy, scored 2 excellent goals, (one of which I possibly should have saved so accute was the angle).

    2) Dave Mill, covered a lot of ground, tackled well and posed a threat in attack.

Andy, I have checked the league table and all is correct per my reckoning other than Phil is listed twice. I believe Phil should have 1.20 points and Davs should be holding up the league on 1.19.

There are only 9 games remaining and only 1 more game to be played before the clocks change and we can kick off in day light.

Generation Cup teams will soon be available as well - then the real banter can begin.

  3. ant Says:

well i thought jordan was the best he’s been for ages last night hahahaa
whats with the missing footy for a women……………….get a grip…….haha

i thought andy p played a very good balanced unselfish game when needed and scored on his oppertunities its the best ive seen him play,, well done mate.

Trigger: cracking uppending as usual always a pleasure to be beaten up by, but seriously a good solid challanging performance from an oldie.

luke worked harder than ive ever seen well done another deserved goal from the performance,,, and trav you did sooooooo well with a flat tyre on that wheel barrow

  4. ant Says:

is it just me or from the scorers wasn’t the score 4-3

  5. Andy Harrogate Says:

No it was 4-4… Andy C got an own goal!

  6. dmillington Says:

Actually you scored our 4th Ant (3rd in the actual match), The og was scored by Andy C for the colours.

My Knees are still raw from the exertions of the last few minutes, just
catching my breath. Well played to the Davidson’s all stuck as a unit, really
hard to pick just 2 MOM though.

In the battle of the Mills it’s now 5-5 in goals, thought minis was a better goal than mine though. As for the absence of Jordan… Jordan who??

  7. Sideshow Says:

Mill, Jordan is someone who used to play with us but was last heard saying “sack it, I don’t come out on a Sunday for this” and then stormed off, only to come back. He then stormed off again being heard to say “no, I’ve had enough, I’m off” only to come back again.

I can only assume that he is in one of his “I’m off moods”.

As to Ant’s assertion that Jordan would be missing for a girl, I can only question could any man be so fickle!

No doubt Jordan will be back to his usual vocal self this coming Sunday, an experience we can all look forward to.

  8. Andy Harrogate Says:

I must say i thought Jordan was there on Sunday until i realised Sideshow had perfected the tone of Jordans voice at half time!!

… anyway the initial nomminations for Whinger of the year have come in:

    1. Jordan R

    2. Mini Trigg

    3. Sideshow (for his impersonation of Jordan)

Interestingly the award will be presented by 8 times winner Jordan (Mini Trigg) Richmond… I think it will be a close call! ;-)

  9. jordyboy Says:

hahahahaha nice to know some guys spend more time at comedy camp than football camp, lol well to inform you all i was returning on sunday but due to the fact everyone clearly enjoy’s the game without me,and since sideshow has perfected my voice evedently i wont be missed. :)

  10. Goldenboots Says:

Another cracking game, with a deserved result. Good picking as the teams were excellent. First game in 4 that I wasn’t suffering with a chest infection and I can confirm that being able to breath does improve your performance.

    MOM Votes are:

    - Ant - hassled and hurried the opposition, and good moving forward
    - Mini Mill - Very Solid all night at the back and bagged a goal as well.

  11. Goldenboots Says:

Oh and I just noticed that I have climbed 2 places in the league. I was quite used to being rock bottom, I think I miss it. I’m sure that I’ll lose a load more by the end of the season.

  12. ant Says:

    hey jord

    jog on

    haha

  13. ant Says:

Trav says he smells and he’s really sorry about it

  14. ant Says:

ants wife says you all have far too much time on your hands.

  15. ant Says:

Ant’s girlfriend say’s he wont be there on sunday as he’s taking me away for th weekend

  16. mini mill Says:

Hi boys, great game. My MOTMs go to

    1. Luke. Cracking Goal
    2. Dave Mill. Solid game

    P.S. I’m just going to change the subject slightly and say has anyone seen the papers this morning. Here are a few of the headlines;
Oh Jordy Boyyyy Mini Trigg. Where is He Now? The Richmond Row Continues Maybe This Time He’s ‘Had Enough’ Neighbours in Smeaton Say they can Finally Get some Sleep as Mysterious Whinging Stops

  17. mini mill Says:

oh wait i’ve found more: Fine Smeaton Display Clouded by Jordy Debate - “Has Anyone Seen my Son?” (Picture of Trig looking puzzled right) - Where Have all the Young Whingers Gone? - and my personal favourite: Is Mini Mill Finally Ready to Replace Aging Jordy? (Picture of Mini Mill’s wonderstrike right) as written by Joshua Millington

*Some names may have been changed.

  18. jordyboy Says:

hey guys don’t worry ill end all your worries,i am now back at the trigger home after becoming lost in the wilderness for roughly about 40 days and 39 nights, however mini mill might just replace me.jord

  19. ant Says:

Jordy Jordy,,, you know mini mill could never replace you……
He’d never fit in to those knees

  20. dmillington Says:

Just looking at the league table, surely hmm

There’ s only one Phil Gray! Or is there?

    Rhianna’s votes for MOM:

    1) Josh football ( Mini has the surname football in her mind cant think why!)
    2) Dave this she calls me instead of Dad, could be worse

Only kidding about the second vote.

  21. Andy Harrogate Says:

    Sorted the double Phil situation.

Interestingly according to “Ant” he has both a girlfriend and a wife… Ouch!

  22. mini mill Says:

Yes, i do believe Solomon was in a similar position with 300 wives and 600 porcupines… now that is an OUCH!

  23. jordyboy Says:

hey this is edd here 2 b truthful i think ur all sad because out of all 22 comments about 2 of them r 2 do with football and not 2 do with jord’s knees
