Man of the Match: Game 7
Monday, October 20th, 2008Windy one last night. Good close game last night with colours having a great come back, nearly snatching at the end.

After last nights game a quick note on handball. We have never ever played handballs unless it was obvious and completely changes the outcome of the set play, ie a goal, in which case the “culprit” can put his hand up (no pun intended), and take the required action, ie goal kick, kick into touch, penalty. This is to keep the game flowing rather than a ’stop/start’ game and makes the game more enjoyable for all. With this in mind we don’t need to be calling it every time a ball bounces against an arm in the middle of the pitch and neither to be need to be arguing at every claim. Simply put the onus is on us to be honest and fair and admit if we are in the wrong.
